Film Institutes: Paramount Pictures

Paramount Pictures

Paramount Pictures founded in 1912 is a part of American Conglomerate Viacom. Paramount is considered to be one of the top grossing institute in the world. It is also the last one of the major film studios (institute) still based out of the Hollywood district of Los Angeles. Paramount is best known in recent years for becoming the father of Dreamworks SKG.

Dreamworks is primarily a cartoon/ animation based institute creating top family films such as Shrek on a regular basis. However on a very recent development upon Dreamworks' most recent film 'Rise of the Guardians' output a total loss of $83million. Dreamworks may require the need to downsize the staff of their animation department.
A major sign that the conglomerates are suffering in this economical time.
