The 180° Rule
The general rule is that you do not cross ove an imiginary line. The main reason for this is it disorientates the viewer. howerever some times most often in a horror the director will wish to create this effect. Whilst researching it i can across a channel on youtube calle IndyMogul. This channel presents information to amateur film mackers involving lots of diy solutions and editing tips.
I have used this channel to balance ideas and reseaarch different things I can use whilst creating my opening two minutes.
